Meela, Inc. (“Meela,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.meela.ai, rides.meela.ai, and my.meela.ai (the “Sites”). This Cookie Notice explains what these technologies are, which companies we work with, and how you can change your choices at any time. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which explains more about how we handle personal information.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, scripts, and browser storage. They can collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view, the links and buttons you click, your browser and device type, and your IP address. Some are set by Meela (“first-party”). Others are set by other companies whose tools we use (“third parties”). Through these technologies, we may transfer data about your visit to those third parties.

Your choices

When you first visit, a banner explains how we use these technologies. Outside the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland (“Europe”), analytics is always on for every visitor, and by continuing to use the Sites you agree to it. Advertising stays off until you click “Accept all” or turn it on under “Customize.” Clicking “Reject optional cookies” keeps advertising off and turns off support chat. In Europe, analytics and advertising both stay off until you accept them, and “Reject all” keeps them off. Essential tools always run. If you turned analytics off before September 28, 2026, we continue to honor that choice until you make a new one. You can change your choices at any time with the “Your privacy choices” link on this page and in the footer of www.meela.ai.

Limited Google Ads measurement before you choose

Outside Europe, before you make a choice, Google Ads may receive limited signals when you view a page, without cookies or advertising identifiers (Google calls this “consent mode”). These signals can include the page address, the page that sent you there, your browser and device type, the time of your visit, and your IP address, which Google uses to estimate your general location. Google uses them to help us estimate ad results in aggregate. They stop if you click “Reject optional cookies” or turn off Advertising, and if you accept, Google Ads uses the cookies described below. In Europe, Google Analytics and Google Ads receive nothing until you accept.

Essential (always on)

These keep the Sites working and secure, remember your privacy choices, and process payments.

• Meela: the meela_consent_v1 cookie remembers your privacy choices (1 year).
• Webflow and Cloudflare host www.meela.ai. Cloudflare may set a security cookie (_cfuvid) that is deleted when you close your browser.
• Stripe processes payments on rides.meela.ai and helps prevent fraud (__stripe_mid, 1 year; __stripe_sid, 30 minutes; plus cookies on stripe.com).
• Google Tag Manager loads our other tools according to your choices. It does not set cookies.
• Code, font, media, and image services display the Sites, including Google Fonts, Google Hosted Libraries, jsDelivr, unpkg, cdnjs, Vidzflow, Dropbox, and Pexels. Loading them shares your IP address with those providers, and Pexels’ network may set a short-lived security cookie. Some pages also include Google Calendar’s appointment booking tool, which loads with the page; Google may set cookies on google.com, such as NID (about 6 months).

Analytics (always on outside Europe)

These help us understand how people use the Sites and test improvements. Outside Europe they run for every visitor, and the banner does not turn them off. In Europe they stay off until you accept them. You can stop Google Analytics on every website you visit with Google’s opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

• Google Analytics (Google LLC) counts visits and shows which pages and buttons people use. Cookies: _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID (up to 2 years).
• Amplitude (Amplitude, Inc.), on rides.meela.ai, shows how people move through sign-up, such as pages viewed and buttons clicked. Cookies: AMP_ followed by an ID (1 year), plus browser storage.
• Optibase, on www.meela.ai and rides.meela.ai, shows different versions of some pages to learn which work better. Cookie: testedUserId on optibase.io (30 days), plus browser storage.
• Meela: the meela_attr cookie remembers the link or ad that brought you to the Sites, so we can connect your sign-up to it (90 days). In Europe, we set it only after you accept Analytics or Advertising.

Advertising (off until you turn it on)

These let advertising companies measure our ads, count sign-ups that come from them, and show you more relevant ads, including on other websites and apps. These companies may combine this information with other information they have about you and use it under their own privacy policies.

• Google Ads (Google LLC): _gcl_au and _gcl_aw (90 days), plus cookies on google.com and doubleclick.net. When you sign up, Google Ads may also receive a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address and phone number to match your sign-up to an ad.
• Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc., which runs Facebook and Instagram): _fbp and _fbc (90 days), plus cookies on facebook.com.
• Microsoft Advertising (Microsoft Corporation, which runs Bing): _uetsid (1 day) and _uetvid (about 13 months), plus cookies on bing.com.
• LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Corporation): cookies on linkedin.com (up to 1 year).
• Reddit Pixel (Reddit, Inc.): _rdt_uuid (90 days).

Support chat

• Intercom (Intercom, Inc.) lets you message our team on my.meela.ai. It currently loads when a my.meela.ai page opens, and we shut it off if you click “Reject optional cookies” (“Reject all” in Europe) or turn off Support chat under “Customize.” We are removing Intercom from the Sites.

Times shown are the longest a cookie can stay in your browser. Your browser may delete it sooner.

How to change your choices

• Click Your privacy choices here or in the footer of www.meela.ai to reopen your settings at any time.
• When you turn a category off, we stop loading its tools and delete the cookies they set on meela.ai. Cookies that other companies set on their own domains, such as google.com or linkedin.com, are controlled by those companies and by your browser settings.
• You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, parts of the Sites may not work, and deleting cookies also deletes your saved choices, so the banner will ask again.
• To learn more about ad choices, visit Google’s Ad Settings, Meta’s Ad Preferences, and the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out page.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising. Advertising stays off and cannot be turned on while the signal is on, and Google Ads does not receive the limited signals described above.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. We currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

Changes to this Cookie Notice

We may update this Cookie Notice when our tools or practices change. We will post the new version here and update the date above. If a change needs your permission, we will ask again through the banner.
